3rd. DP impaired collectively a whole discipline - the department of Eretz Israel studies - by accusing its members, in front at the world at large, as if they do not publish  in foreign languages, in refereed journals, known academic publishing houses etc. A very slight effort would have sufficed, if he had examined the CV and publications of the departments' staff, and he would have found that they do exactly what he accuses them of not doing. This is an intentional lie meant to defame them, and defame them in the international academic community, and undermine their reputation.

4th. All the remarks of DP mentioned in this suit are characterized by rudeness, aggressiveness and literal violence, scorn and contempt without any intention of conducting a factual academic discussion, but only for the purpose of public defamation.

Even when he was caught (the case of professor Baram and the interview in Maariv that had never taken place) he did not apologize or retracted, but claimed arrogantly that he only mistook the 'color of the hair' of Baram's sister.  The worst case of his rudeness an insult was defining the Arab lecturer in the inquiry committee, DR. Ibrahim Jiris, an 'Arab fig leaf' (to a Jewish conspiracy?)  DP knows well that he does not only insult and humiliates publicly Dr. Jiris, but also exposes him to real dangers by giving him such an adjective of a kind of a collaborator.

5th. DP's conduct leaves no doubt about the many violations he committed of the ethical code in an academic institute. His continues action, his lack of any regret or doubt of the things he repeats, and all his aim to defame, insult, humiliate, scorn and act in a lofty manner, damaging the good name and professional reputation of the university as a whole, of its legal institutes, of the departments of it collectively and many staff members in particular.

6th. Therefore, I call on the academic disciplinary court to judge DP for these violations in this suit, and exploit to the full its legal authority to bring to an end his work in the university and to his expulsion according to clause 4.1 of the codex of the duties of an academic staff.

Yours sincerely
Professor Ben Artzi.
