The first complaint has been rejected, but we're waiting for the "other shoe" to drop. We can hold back on letters to officials at the University of Haifa, but we should continue to send letters to organizations that defend academic freedom. Ask that they take up the defense of Dr. Pappe. Many of us are members of unions involved in education, AFT, NEA, AUUP. From time to time all of them take up cases of persecuted people from other countries. Write to them, ask them to look over the evidence at this website and to make inquiries of the University of Haifa. Their addresses on are links on our home page.
